*Boat landing is located 1/4 mile south of camp in Quimby Village.
*Main Camp has a phone for local calls, a calling card will be needed for all long distance calls.
*If you need to be contacted while staying at the camp the Phone number is:
(207)444-3422. Most Cell phones do not get reception at camp.
*Main camp has several movies for all ages in the TV cabinet for your enjoyment.
*Main camp has an oil furnace for its primary heat and a gas fireplace located in
living room for added heat and comfort.
*Moose hunters having permits for districts 2 or 3 are in prime location for some
of the biggest and most plentiful Moose in the state. Camp sits 2 miles off Rt. 11
which divides district 2 and 3.
*Deer and Bear Hunters can also enjoy prime areas for trophy Bucks and Bruins.

WHEN CHECKING OUT:
*Please be considerate and leave camp as you found it.
*Please remove used linens from beds and place in bathroom laundry
basket along with any dirty towels.
*Full trash bags can be placed outside next to porch.
*Please leave keys on kitchen counter or hang on key rack next to door.
*Please lock door upon your departure.

Direction from south to Albert's Camp:
• Interstate 95 North to:
• Exit 264 – Sherman/Patten Rt. 11 exit.
• Take left at end of ramp, will join Rt. 11 about ¼ mile up the road.
(Irving Station will be on right just before joining Rt. 11. They’re open 24 hrs.
Will be the only 24 hrs store from this point to camp. Good place to fuel up if traveling at night.)
• Stay north on Rt. 11 for 83 mile to Town of Winterville.
(FYI - When going through the town of Ashland you will need to turn left at second blinking light
then turn right after bridge about 1 mile down the road in order to stay on Rt. 11.)
• Winterville is about 15 minutes north of the town of Portage.
• Once in Winterville, Turn left on South Shore Road (Old Quimby Village Road ) to Quimby Village 1.7 miles to tee.
• Turn right at tee on North Shore Rd.
• Go .4 miles, turn left on South Birch Ln. Will see sign for “Albert’s” Camp.
• Turn left after Rail Road Tracks to end of road. Welcome to Albert’s Camp, #11, Gray Cottage.
“Caution” Stop before Rail Road Track and look both ways. Train runs different times of day,
7 days a week. There are no signs or warning lights at crossing.
* From Exit 264 to camp is about 1 ½ to 1 ¾ hours.
* From Portland, ME to Camp is about 5 to 5 ½ hours.
Direction from Fort Kent to Albert's Camp:
- From Fort Kent head south on Route 11 through Eagle Lake to Winterville. 20 mile +/-.
- Turn right on South Shore Road (Old Quimby Village Road ) to Quimby Village 1.7 miles to tee.
- Turn right at tee on North Shore Rd.
- Go .4 miles, turn left on South Birch Ln. Will see sign for “Albert’s” Camp.
